A little home in a quiet town,
Is overjoyed to have a father at home,
A brother and son to play with,
A husband to hold.
Men are human,
They come in all shapes and sizes,
They smile, they cry,
They are full of surprises.
Men,
Sometimes they don’t tell us about the challenges on their plate.
Life is tough for all,
We just could take a look at the suicide rate.
Rural men have pressures of family,
Urban men are caught in a biased law trap.
Men, taken for granted at times,
Today is a reminder that they deserve a clap.
Let’s recognize their scientific contributions,
How they lead nations,
Their art full of passion,
Truly is an inspiration.
Men are straight, gay, transgender too.
Some are a part of LGBTQ.
If you feel you are a man, a man you are,
It is enough. You just have to believe in you.
Men have a unique way of life,
It’s important to acknowledge all the good they do.
In all honesty and love, dearest men,
Life is more fun with you.
