2020 Wrapped!

2020 is over! Hello, 2021!

2020 was a major bummer, but like they say...every cloud has a silver lining...2020 had something to offer too!

I asked a few of my humans...what their favorite part of 2020 was.

So...fasten your seatbelts as we take a quick drive through memory lane.

2020 must be officially declared as the year of the INTROVERTS.

It was truly a boon for people who hated socializing.

Just like every dog has its day, every introvert has its year. 2020.

The majority of 2020 was spent daydreaming about when the year would end.

Now that's its finally over...let's see how many of our dreams come true!

Disney was right..."A dream is a wish your heart makes..."

We've made some pretty big ones for 2021.

2020 was full of food. Our cooking journey started with making Dalgona coffee to becoming pro chefs.

We then did home workouts regularly to burn off the excess calories.

2020 taught us that home-cooked meals are indeed scrumptious!

Maybe this is a habit we'd keep in 2021.

Ahh... who could forget the way we rationed our junk food...

It was sooo precious.

We slept the most in 2020 to make up for the sleep we lost through the years.

We were at the peak of human hibernation!

We always dreamt about being locked in a room with unlimited food and sleep. 2020 just granted our wishes.

2020 helped us sleep in online classes...and the teacher wouldn't even know.

From pranking the teacher by telling them to press alt+F4...to genuinely helping them understand the computer interface...is how students matured in 2020.

For peeps like me, we just finished our 12th board exams before COVID hit, studied for our engineering entrances in lockdown, gave our exams...it's finally a new year and we still don't have a college. (Admissions haven't started yet.)

It's utterly embarrassing when a junior calls me up and says, "I'm in the 12th grade."

Me too kiddo, me too.

2020 really helped family and friends come together.

Whether you were close or apart...we all realized the beauty of the human bond.

We checked up on people, they checked up on us.

All this kindness made everyone's heart full of love and warmth.

Another special gift we'd love to take in 2021.

2020 was a boon for work life.

Though many inappropriately assumed we were free for the entire day during the lockdown...we too had the ultimate excuse,

"Sorry...technical difficulties!"

2020 helped us embrace our lazy side. Dressing up in pajamas the whole day, keeping everything messy!

We became the rawest version of ourselves.

It was fun to see this side come out...

For once...we did what we wanted and what made us happy.

Well, what can I say?

I don't like to flex but... I did survive a pandemic.

We all did.

And we shall flex for the rest of our lives!

COVID dropped many bombs on us in 2020.

The biggest bomb that's dropping, in the end, is that it's mutating.

New strains have been found in the UK.

The most notorious feature of 2020 shall visit us in 2021.

I'm glad most vaccines are in their final trial stages though.

What do we say? "GO CORONA GO!"

Stay safe, sanitize, and smile with your mask on!

We're in this together!

No matter how much we try to be optimistic sunflowers, 2020 was heartbreaking.

2020 was hard on every soul.

We're so glad it's over.

Good riddance!

2021 here we come!!!

Oh wait...we're in quarantine...

2021, come to us!...

...and don't forget to sanitize yourself!
